This was one of my early experiments with spontaneous painting, where the design was not completely planned in advance, and some details would be controlled by the release of paint from the squeeze bottle. Unlike earlier works with a "minimal brush stroke" aesthetic, this piece involves variations in paint density, and includes some thick swirls of solid color.
