Arts Alive Banner, 2002

"Flowers of Encinitas" is an original acrylic painting by Janet Hansen that was displayed outdoors on Coast Hwy 101, near E Street, for February through May 2002.

This piece of original artwork was sold at auction, along with several dozen art canvases by other local artists. Janet Hansen was commissioned to paint another banner in the same style, as shown in the photos below.

The artist also painted a banner for this program in 2003 and 2004.
